MY STORY
I graduated from Walden University, where I received a Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I use an existential approach to obstacles in life, but believe therapy should be shaped and molded to the needs of my clients. I help individuals who have experienced disturbing life events find their inner peace by providing techniques and tools to overcome their trauma to live rewarding lives. I also help women and those within the LGBTQ+ community who struggle with their self-esteem find their voice through a non-judgmental environment to help empower them to reach their full and maximum potential.
I believe each experience is unique and each story is worth being told. I also believe people have the ability to change and heal from their traumas, along with the trauma they have inherited through the generations before them. If we can prioritize living true to our authentic selves, then we can overcome any obstacle in life.
I have worked closely with those within the LGBTQ+ community, and live by the hard rule that we should encourage and support each other's uniqueness to stimulate communities of acceptance and understanding.
